These performances, aside from Quest for Success and You Don’t See that You Don’t See, are solo pieces that I scripted, designed and produced.
Most of the performances portray the stress of high-stakes financial speculation experienced by the protagonist.
While most of the pieces are staged in performance and gallery venues, such as the Living Room, in New York City, and 848 Community Space, in San Francisco, several of them were performed in public spaces. Prospector was performed in Statue Square in Hong Kong, as well as Times Square and the World Trade Center.
Most of my personal performances are scripted and utilize props, lighting and often video projection.
Along with performing I was also a producer/curator of performance art at a non-profit art gallery in San José, CA. These events featured artists from around the Bay Area, bringing lively, alternative, art to this culturally underserved city.
